The Carlton Ritz Hotel

The history if The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company originally comes from The Ritz-Carlton, Cesar. He was a famous hotelier who managed his hotels and served people in a very special way. Even after the death of Cesar Ritz in 1918 his wife Marie continued the family business opening new branches all around America and it later expanded to Europe as well.
The Hotel Ritz is a grand palatial hotel in the heart of Paris, the 1st choice. It overlooked the octagonal border of the Place Vendome at number 15. The hotel is ranked highly among the most prestigious and luxurious hotels in the world and is a member of "The Leading Hotels of the World’’.  And in 1995, the Carlton Ritz joined Marriot as one of the best hotels in the world it holds many important event such as international sports tournaments, weddings and etc. It holds one of the most accurate organizations with their customer service, with non-managerial employees, in all their industries, they always take customers experience to the next level leaving them excited about their stay in the hotel, they have special programs which are designed for leaders wishing to improve their friendship skills, they are constantly training and developing their employees, they value their social engagement and how to commt to their community.
The Ritz-Carlton is one of the best known, most admired brand names in the world, and it has been for decades. Movies have used the Ritz name to connote glamour, elegance, and luxury. The word Ritz has even become a part of our language -- just about everyone knows what ritzy means. “Money can't buy this kind of brand recognition. But brand recognition alone doesn't keep hotel guests coming back. In fact, brand recognition is just the first step in a customer's journey toward engagement with the total experience that is The Ritz-Carlton brand“ (Simon F. Cooper, 2006). When looking at management issues in the Carlton Ritz Hotel, there are 7 main managing issues faces nowadays; it’s managing the power, developing standards and trust, empowering the employees, leading across cultures, understanding gender difference especially in the Middle East, and becoming an effective leader. The Carlton Ritz has succeeded in mostly all of these points, gradually improving their selves till they reached this standard. One of the biggest challenges the Carlton Ritz had is the big transformation between generations, they were originally known for their formal and traditional way of serving, the guests were accepted regarding on their appearance and they even had a uniform for their guests.
The Carlton Ritz hotels have been going through constant evaluation and identification of their services since it was first opened in early 20th century, providing both directions and support to ensure their goals are compatible. “The Ritz Carlton Hotel is a place where the genuine care and comfort of our guests is our highest mission. We pledge to provide the finest personal service and facilities for our guests who will always enjoy a warm, relaxed yet refined ambiance” (Moore,2010).  Their main goal, is that no matter where the location of the hotel is, with the different countries and different environments their goals and objectives remain the same throughout the world.

And in the end we come to see the reason why Ritz Hotel is famous around the world, and people come from all around the world to spend their time there, and it’s known for its luxuries features.
